What years did they make the 2 door Cherokee's and how hard is it to find a 2door with auto tranny, and 4wd?

1984 - 1999 or 2000 I think. Shouldn't be hard to find a 2-Door with auto and 4WD.

However, finding a 2-Door in the first place is the problem. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif Wonder how a 2-Door Libby would look like? Guess it's time for me to play around in Photoshop. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hee.gif

Wow! I didn't think they made them that many years. I agree with you, Marlon, finding a 2 door is not easy.

BTW, forget photoshop.... get a saw saw and a welder /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hee.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hee.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hee.gif

I have been looking for one with a 5 speed manual. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif I think I have found my next project... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Nitedog, I have two Jeeps, don't need a third. However, my 25 Y/O Nephew said that he wanted to purchase a 2 door Cherokee..... hence the reason for my question. Please keep me posted on your Son's Jeep. I have no idea exactly when my Nephew will be ready to make a purchase, I just know it won't be real soon /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

For what its worth, the only benefit the two door has, its when it comes to mounting Bushwaker flairs on it because of the metal cutting/shaping involved. I doubt very much if the two door is any more ridgid than four, but its much easier getting to things with the for doors. Have fun

Also, with the XJ, broken hinges are a problem with the 2-Door. They will just...break... and if you want to fix it, I hope you like welding!

My Nephew is physically handicapped. 2 door vehicles have bigger doors, hence are usually easier for him to get in and out of. However, if a handicapped parking spot isn't available, he sometimes has problems getting a 2 door vehicles door open enough to be able to get in. Personally, having watched him with both a 2 door and 4 door vehicle, it seems like 6 one way, half a dozen the other to me. However, he prefers the 2 door vehicle, so that is all that really matters. FYI, this is Jacob's older Brother for those of you who met Jacob at TB on the 12th of Feb.
