You know it actually ticks me off that some one sits on these cars so no one can fix them up. These cars are disappearing off the road one by one and soon they will be untouchable for small potatoes like us. I have always wanted a classic but never found the right one at the right price (for me). And here is a guy with a whole lot that hogs them till they are almost worthless!

This Galaxy and/or the 442 are the pick of the litter imho. :)
As a kid, I always wanted the Galaxy from the Andy Griffith Show (Mayberry's Police car).

I spend a lot of time on eBay drooling over classic cars. I would LOVE to have one. I think I would just about make it a daily driver. I sure wouldn't just put it up and drive it only to car shows.
The Roadrunners, GTOs, Mustangs, Camaros, and other "muscle cars" are nice, but they are really expensive. A Galaxie or an Impala from the 60s would be nice, if a guy couldn't afford one of those muscle cars I just mentioned. There are sure some nice ones on ebay.

A friend of mine, who's the drummer in my band, has a '70 Cuda. When he got it it was set up for drag racing; huge tires in the back, 440 under the hood, full rollcage, etc. He toned it down a bit and made it street legal. Still has all that stuuf in it but he had to add working instruments, passenger and rear seat, re-work the lights, replace the tranny, and change out the gearing. It's lime green and still one hack-uv-a fast car!
Wonder how bad the floors are in that convertible?

Would like to see it sometime. That's a little past the range of model years that I like the most, but I would still like it. I would like a Galaxie from '55-'56 or '63-'67 time periods. Impalas would be nice anywhere from '55-'66, but not real crazy about the '59.
