My heater went out at the tail end of last winter but now it's time to fix it. Actually all my interior air is inop. Once in a while if I hit a bump right it will work for a few miles or so. Is there a common relay or short in a TJs dash? This is a 97
Thanks, KB

it doesn't bow at all or just on hi or intermittently or what? If it works sometimes when you hit a bump, I would say a loose ground or fuse or something...

It doesn't work at all anymore. Thinking a short somewhere
Pull your blower out or put straight battery power accross it. See if it will run then. You may just have a blower motor going bad, sticking.

Try replacing the blower motor relay behind the glove box, mounted on a small brace and looks like a turn signal flasher. It is listed as a multi-purpose relay at the dealer for around $15. If that does not work, it could be the resistor of which I have a spare I can send you if needed. They are about $42, but Tom's special deal of the day to you if needed, is $0.00. This is all assuming the blower is what is not working but you still get heat seaping out of the vents once warmed up.

If the resistor was bad it should still blow on "HI" setting only...I'm guessing the relay or maybe just a short...could be the motor is bad altogether but hopefully not.
