Reorganization

Inside the .zip file are two documents:

The first is called "itsajeep.doc" the second is called "itsajeep v2.0.doc".

itsajeep.doc is how we're currently organized (with my brainstorming edits involved).

itsajeep v2.0.doc is how we would be organized using my brainstorming edits.

I was going to post them both here in this thread, but I used strikeouts and it's not recognized in this posting box. Then my .doc files were too big, so I had to zip them.

I also would like to add that I'm not trying to start a fight, flame war, civil war, divorce, gang fight here. I am only offering my suggestions for what they are...suggestions. You know what they say about opinions, right? I love you guys (even though I don't know any of you). :cool:

If we were having problems with the way it was, I would be for looking at a change, but I think everything is running pretty smooth right now. I think the admin's do a good job and listen to any suggestions we have when someone has a question or if there is a need for a new catagory, they try to accomadate us. BigAlpha, in your experience, if you see something that might be better, pm it up the line and let them take it into consideration.

I was trying to make things a little more consolidated. It's in my nature to tinker with things; sometimes it gets me in trouble.

The reason I didn't "pm it up the line" is because I thought I'd throw out my suggestions and see what people thought. I wasn't trying to be disrespectful or screw up the zen.

No problem, BigA. We are always open to suggestions (which we promptly dismiss). :) Just kidding. We DO listen, and new forums have been created as a result of requests from various members.

Thanks for the time and effort you put into your proposal, but in this case, it seems like most folks are happy with the way the site is organized now.

I actually agree with you on some of these suggestions and I think they should be taken into consideration. It's not so much for the majority of us that have been here for a while but for new members or visitors...
If you click on the "Forum" tab on top of the page, it brings up a page full of topic areas that are somewhat confusing and sometimes even redundant.
So I take this suggestion as very constructive by actually providing a solution to an identified issue.

Thanks. I had identified a few forums that didn't have any posts, and some that looked like they could be merged for ease of reading. Seems the masses like the current layout. No big deal.
