View Full Version : Offroad 1st time in unlimited

It was not much but was necessary to put in 4x4 to get to property i was inspecting. It was fun, now my jeep is covered in mud as i took the long way out....There have been heavy rains here for over a week on and off so ground is saturated and it poured again last night. I was on my way off the property (vacant and for sale) when i observed a dirt trail heading towards and slight decline and back up with a large pool of water to cross. I had to do it as it was probably 25 feet across and appeard to maybe be 3-4 inches deep. WRONG!! I hit the water mayb 8-10 mph for some splashing fun, well the water turned out to be over 12 inches deep, and i saw this wave rise up coming over the hood and crashing on my windshield, i said oh s###t, I came out on the other side and I was like WOOOHOOOO....and no i didnt do it again, LOL......

use a colon, then type ttiwwp (the first letters of each word), then put another colon. all of this with NO spaces. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

wow, lots of posts here, was busy all weekend....Ya i learned real fast about no guessing on how deep a water hole is,lol...and i shoulda took pics it was just sooo muddy and i still had to go to the office didnt want to get my cloths and shoes dirty since i didnt have a change with me......
