I'm back (sort of)

Hi there all, sorry I have been out of it for a long while. Some of you might remember me from last year (fathersday Weekend) when I broke my wrist at Turkey bay. Well wrist is better but XJ is down. I thought it was the Clutch but that wasn't the only problem. I replaced the clutch and now I can shift from 1st to 5th without using the clutch and I go nowhere. The guy at the Trans shop said it sounds like the Input shaft is broken. So I am now looking for a transmision. I found a AX 15 on ebay so far bid is at 50.00 hopfully it stays there. lol hope everyone is well and doing good. Can't wait to get the XJ back up and out on the trails it has been way toooo long.

Hi there man I can not even remember what wrench you have. My wife was surpeised you remembered it. I forgot all about it. lol hopeing to get back on the trails soon. the XJ has been down for a while looking at like 8 month. I still wish I didn't have to buy another trany. I got a line on one on e-bay for 50.00 hopefully I get it and it is in good shape. it has 130K less miles than mine. lol

Micah, I am just off Purpleheart Pwy. I will probably pull the old one out tomarrow to tear it down and verify the problem. If you want to come by and help I could use the extra hands. My 5 year old tries to help but he just makes me laugh and get mad when he messes with the tools I am useing lol he is trying to help.
