Hi guys and girls ,

Here is my problem i have with my soft top. The zipper is broken on the rear zip-out window and the whole window needs to be replaced. I can get a window from a jeep dealer but its a lot of $$. And all i can find on the internet for replacement windows (tinted) are a set (2 side and 1 rear), plus all the kits i found stopped at year 2002, (my jeep is am 03) is there any web site were i can find a REAR tinted window only? If anyone knows of one it would be much appreciated.

thanks

kbo

i had a kinda messed up tinted rear window (window wasn't connecting to fabric at bottom. So there was a slight hole there, but could have been easily fixed. Bestop replaced it, and I had it lying around for about a year. Finally got rid of it before moving.

My timing seems to be lousy lately.

ok , i called up quadratec and they said they or anyone else wount start to carry a window set for a factory soft top untill the end of the summer. And i also called the dealer, to get a price on a rear window, $ 194 + they were out of stock. I ended stopping at an apustry shop and had the zipper repaired for $20, the only catch is i cant unzip the window. They repaired the zipper to were it would beable to fit on and not come off. Oh well at least i have a window again

Crap, Wish I'd have seen your post sooner. Was it the zipper pull that came apart? That happend to me, and the pull is actually on the top not the window. Jeep warrantied it and I got a new top and back window. They should cover it with it being an 03 but probably not since you repaired it. They can put a zipper in that allows you to remove the window you just cant roll it up anymore. That is what the dealer tried to do with mine but I told them it was not acceptable since the zipper should not have failed.
