my name is mike and i'm from bg ky. i'm not new to jeeps but just got back into them after a short spell with mustangs. anyone else here from this area? i noticed there was a run here in town at lynn's place. havn't been out there yet but am goin this weekend. by the way i now have a 89 xj, stock for now with the exception of cragors soft 8's buckshots and welded rear.

thanks for the warm welcome. i'm a member of cherokee forums also and bowling green mustangs. the only problem with cherokee forum is that most members are out west. i like being involved in somthing alittle closer and this looks like the right spot. hope to meet some of yall on the trails.

Guess I'll get to meet you Saturday ... weather looks like it will be a good day.

Along with the rock rails (which are worth their weight in gold), I'd also recommend adding some recovery points to the front.

Do you have anything in the rear (like trailer hitch)?

i have the factory hitch, it ain't much, but i am planning on adding bumpers, winch, lift and bigger tires. i also need to find a new rear end, this one is welded and i want lockers front and rear and some stronger axles.but that will come in time.right now i was want to check everything out and see what its got in its stock form.
