OK, the front spacers are on and it looks GREAT! She has Death Wobble, but the rear trackbar relocation bracket still needs to be installed, and a front-end alignment. Her trackbar bracket on the front axle, which had to be drilled to 1/2 inch for the new adjustable trackbar, was bent which resulted in 3 hours to get the bolt to go through it.
More to come.......

Ok, she is almost finished now.
Thanks to turf and recycled teen for dropping by yesterday and noticing that
we still need a drop pitman arm. Anyone have one???
They took some pics as well. Maybe they can post them??? ;)
I'll get some flexy shots when I have the brake lines and the pitman arm on
there. Thank you Tom for finishing her up for me yesterday. You know I
love you for it! :) (Well, that and other things of course. ;))
Gee Denise. When I read the post "Denise's Lift Update" I thought to myself, Hmmmm, I didnt think you sagged! hhheeeeheeeheeeeeheeeeeheeeeheehhehheeeeheheeeeee!
I have a couple pitman arms for an XJ. I think they drop further than yours. Measure it and let me know. You can have 1!!
After the lift and tires I had death wobble on the JK. We got a larger steering stabilzer worked great!!

I would also highly recommend an upgraded steering stabilizer if you havent already installed one.

From what I am told a steering stabilizer will actually just hide your issues and not get rid of them.

from a technician, GET an upgraded steering stablizer. a buch of technical mumbo jumbo with scrub radius, included angle, steering angle incline and yada yada yada, can't be set back to factory specs to take care of all the issues associated with lift, tires and wheels. a very good alignment by a shop that deals with modified vehicles and a steering stabilizer will get you smooth and safe.

Tom, you can do a alignment yourself. All you need is a tape measure, angle finder, and flat ground. Somebody on here can give you the caster angle (6* I think) and toe in (?). then you just need to make sure that the axles are sitting square under the jeep, just find a reference point that is the same on each side and measure to the axle tube on each side.

I use the seam on the middle of the tire for my reference point. You do not want the front measurement and rear measurement to be the same. You want it slightly toed in (about 1/8" or so) to prevent wandering. I've even does this alignment on the trails when my tie rod was loose and I needed to re-align and tighten it down.
Steering stabilizers can help reduce the wobbles, but there is still fundamentally at issue if you are getting the death wobble. Are you sure they are not driveline vibes? Do you have a MML installed?
I'd like to see a pic of the tierod, trackbars, and draglink setup with the wheels straight and on the ground. I don't think the pitman arm is the issue with just a 4" lift. I know each Jeep is different, but I think something else may be at play here.

No MML, the drag-link and tie rod is way off, thus the drop pitman arm need. Springs are bent backwards, thus the need for adjustable lower control arms. Then the need for an alignment. I tried aligning mine in teh past myself, but was not successful. After a shop did it, my DW went away.
