Who wants to go Saturday? We have some for Sunday, but KY TJ and possibly some of his Buds might want to go Saturday and Sunday too. I can go both days, if we have folks wanting to go on Saturday.

Who's up for Saturday?

Also, let's get a bunch of Turkey Bay regulars organized for a trip to KY TJ's home wheelin' place, Livingston.

Don, I guess you are just being silly, because you should know that you don't have to ask if yo can go. You may live a bit too far to be with us every weekend, but you are still part of the gang. You are welcome anytime and anywhere we go wheelin'.

Whooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cloudy days are my favorite wheelin' days!!!!!!!!!!!!(not being sarcastic at all) Im not gothic, I just cant stand the sun's glare when I wheel cause im always afraid I will hit something on smaller trails. WHen it comes summer, there wont be really to much glar when i have my top off so I hope we have lots of sunshine in the spring/summer!!

Fred

Well, I'm not going to be there. My dog, Lucy, is limping badly and her left front leg is REALLY swollen. Same symptoms Kermit had when we found out he had cancer. I'm taking her in on Saturday.

I can't handle losing two dogs within 12 months...

Man, Paul, I will sure be hoping for the best for Lucy. Please let us know how it goes. You know how much I can relate to lovin' a doggie, considering how much I love old Ross Allen.

Yeah, I know. She's 14 now so I knew this was coming, just wish it wouldn't.

Sorry to hear about the pooch. Our dog (Beth) is about 13 years old as well and starting to show signs of getting old. Dreading the day as well but I wouldn't trade having her around for anything in the world.

It is obvious that many of us truly love our dogs.
I just had my English Bulldog Zydeco down to the UGA School of Veterinary Medicine for lab work, x-rays, and a MRI..They still don't know what is causing his head tremors..I can appreciate what you are going through with your Lucy..Keep us updated.......... j

I have a Boxer, Dakota, and a PEkeingese, Gizmo. I will bring the Boxer MAYBE on sunday, depends on if I have passengers or not, But will probably leave the Peke home. I know what it is like to have a sickly dog though, my Peke is 3 and has epilepsy, he has MAJOR bad seisures if his medication is not given regular, he actually made my mother in law cry when she saw him have one, he even made me cancel a wheelin trip, had to go home early, because he had a fit and we had to take him to the doggy ER!

**** Paul. Hate to hear it. But I know what you are going thru. Our Westie just had surgery and we found out it is stomach cancer. Vet said just a matter of a week or two. So now she is eating anything she wants as long as it will stay down. She is on steroids and feeling a little better. 11 year old and own us all for that time. Mike, as I told you in the email, I am so very, very sorry about your dog. Lord knows I can relate to the love people can have for their doggies and vice versa.

I hope your remaining time with her will be a joy for you and Robin and for your dog. I know the pain will be almost unbearable when the time comes, but, hopefully, there are still some good moments that you can share.

I had the same dilemma with Kermit. I could tell he was in pain. Ears wouldn't perk up even when given food, wouldn't get up to eat. I knew it was time. I couldn't prolong it for my sake. I couldn't be selfish.

He was there for the roughest times in my adult life. Always there with a wagging tail and a smile on his face (yes he had a smile). I owed him and wouldn't let him suffer any more. The vet even put him down at our house while he was in his favorite spot. **** I miss him.
