What's up with the site last couple days?

Wonder why there are times that we can't get in here lately? I get the "cannot find server" message when I try to get in here very often now. Others have emailed me that they are having the same problem.

The domain name expired last week and I just found out about it today. I debated on where to renew it but I did for another year, everyone should be able to see in in 24-48 hrs.

OK, spill yer guts! How much do we need to send ya for the cost??? I'll pay it myself, if I have to, but you ain't payin' it out of your own pocket! Not after what has happened to you with the fire and all. Please post how much it cost and let me see who will help out on it, OK?

I received an e-mail message telling me that I had received a private message.... yet when I log on, there wasn't a message. Is this normal after the site goes down?

I hadn't been able to get in for the past couple of days and just tried again and all was well...
We can ALL pitch in and help with the cost..

This may not help since I'm a new member, but I have had not ONE problem logging on to the site. I have been able to get into it whenever I wanted. The only reason I can offer is that I do routinely 'clean' up my computer. Cookies, history and also the Start Up files section. Maybe this helps, maybe not, but it might be worth a try. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Naw, Gilly says the problem was the expiration of the domain name registration. Once he renewed it, it had to propogate again.

Why wait until Gill tells us the cost, what don't everyone that uses and likes this site just use the "Donations" button and donate 5, 10 or 20 dollars. Each as we can afford. As of right now there's 427 registered members, if everyone send just $10 that would not only help with the expenses of this site, but also help the founder and maintainer of this site recover from the fire and get back on his feet.

What's $10.00 a meal at a fast food joint, one move ticket, two movie rentals.... COME ON GUYS LET's HELP GILL OUT, you have the methods USE THEM. Hit the "Donate" button, mail it in, just do something.
