I am searching for a General Contractor (licensed, insured with references) to build a house for me on my land in Murfreesboro. I'm not looking for a big custom house but a simple 3 bedroom/2 bath home about 1700 to 2000 sq.ft. It may or may not have a garage built now but it will eventually have at least a 3 car garage. I am meeting with a fence contractor (Hooper) and a barn builder (for the horses) the week of August 18. If anyone is a contractor or knows one who may fill this search, please PM me with their information. Thank you.

No...I haven't checked with anyone yet. I did speak to a builder last year about building but he wanted to put up a $750,000 house and I don't want (and can't afford) that. I want a simple house without gold fixtures and stuff like that. I will keep Teddy in mind, that is a nice house, and would look nice on my property.

Teddy built that house as a spec house if my memory is correct. Hopefully he sold that house before the market went South  Teddy goes by user ID of Teddy on this site.

Don....thats a long way from point A to point B. Teddy wont know the local contractors down there so it would probably end up in delay after delay.

Teddy is a good GC from what I saw of his last house he built. I wish I knew of someone in your area but like Teddy...the ones I know would have to travel about 100 miles one way.
