YJ MM Measurements

Is there anyone in the Evansville area that has a YJ with a factory 4.0 that I can get motor mount measurements off of? I need to cut the mounts off my frame and move them forward for the 4.0. From what I've found on other sites is that I need to move them 4 inches.

What I will be doing is this.....I'll lower the engine/tranny/tcase combo into place and bolt the tcase to the skid plate, that will locate the engine where it needs to be. Then with the motor mounts already bolted to the engine, lower it until the mounts rest on the frame. At this point you can either mark the location with a paint pen or you can tack the mounts in place.

One other thing....I would have the radiator sitting in its mount if possible to make sure there are no clearance issues before you tack weld those mounts.

great time to upgrade to elec fan...!! There pretty cheap!
