New member not in the members list

Why can I see the newest member on the Homepage but when I click the name I get a not authorized to view error? Also they don't have a profile listed in the members list. If I click another name though it links to their profile.

Any ideas or am I just crazy?

The new members listed on the right have not necessarily completed all information for a proper registration. It is either that, or something in the settings to let us view that user information from that link are not working properly. I'm a mod and I can't do it either.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I like to send new members a personal welcome message and encourage them to post up an introduction so they will quickly get to know a bunch of people on IAJ.

As soon as someone fills out his registration, he appears on the home page as the "new member." We manually approve registrations to try to keep spammers out, so someone could be showing as a new member, but his registration might not have been approved as yet.

I have to go check out a registration right now, as a matter of fact, so whoever is being shown as a new member right now is not really a new member just yet.
