My friend and I took our wranglers out for a 200 mile drive as it was top down weather. We had a blast all on pavement unfortunately but still fun. Waved and talked to lots of people in their wranglers.....I wore a cap however, my friend did not and his head looked cooked when he was done, made for a good laugh.....I need to be looking for a safari top with warmer weather coming. Taking off early today as its going to be 81 and want to get out again before the cold front hits...... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Hey, what is this - Texas warmer and dryer and topless weather while SoCal is either cold or wet?!! Can't believe it!

I discovered that a hat with a brim is absolutely necessary when driving with even just the sunrider option open. I don't think I'll go the safari top route (I thought about it). I figure I'd just take the windows all out - it will be quicker to go to a buttoned up state for using the air conditioner.

Ive been checkin into the safari top and to get the header and top is kinda expensive imo for what offered. I probably just do the same and take windows out at least for now. My friends head is peeling, just couldnt stop laughin when i visited with him last night, sunburned in Feb, LOL.......
