I know everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but what would you have done in his shoes? Come-on man we've had worse. What warrants people to call him a jackass? Because he talks different or carries himself a little different. He can't be too much of a Jackass..........someone voted for him.................twice.

All I know about Obama is that he is hard core anti-gun!!!!!! That is enough for me not to vote for him period.
Andy that's because he hardly answers any question. It's always sidestep. You can't really figure out his position if he won't tell you.
I like senators running because you can look at there voting records (if they vote ;) )

x2 on what Andy said. Any politician that fears their citizens owning guns is somebody to be feared and concerned about. McCain's record isn't a whole lot better.
It's pretty sad that the best politicians we can muster for presidential candidates are these two. There really are some outstanding ones, but they are too smart to run for President.

Not to mention Obama is dead set against opening up Alaska for drilling. I am all for conservation of wildlife and the beauty of nature but come on gas is $4 a gallon.

Can't be worse than someone who twice attacked a veteran running against him. Lets see Bush stated that McCain was anti veteran in the 2000 election not to mention the neat little trick of using his campaign to start a rumor McCain was unfit to be President because he had been tortured in North Vietnam. (Larry King interviewed them both in the primary and this was brought up if you want to check McCain was rumored to be unstable for the job) Like Kerry or not he do GO and did Get SHOT but lets attack him for not getting SHOT ENOUGH! So just on that I have to agree with Erin. And it has nothing to do with Iraq etc that makes me feel that way. Budget? NCLB? Taxes? go on on

Not sure why you think someone is “suddenly for him?” He went through the primary and was elected to be the republican nominee. So I will support him. I might have select one of the other candidates but he is qualified and has a record of what he stands for. Obama has nothing.

Bottom line is I have 1000000000000000000x more in common with John McCain than Obama.

You are correct- the prez does not run much- but the upcomming pres election is more important than normal due to the fact that the next pres will be able to pic 2-3 of the supreme court justices...
