I am retired

As of 7:30 edt this morning I am retired from Palm Beach County Fire/Rescue with 30 1/2 years of service. After I sell my house I am moving to middle Tennessee. Until then I am looking for a part-time job to take up my time.

Congratulations! After that long in the FD, you've been thru enough! You deserve the time off!

My parents lived in West Palm Beach for ten years or so. They left after Katrina came through.

I hope you enjoy retirement as much as my parents do....they play golf most weekdays, they walk the courses btw. Dad made the comment once that he didn't know how he had time to work.

I pulled the plug in 2005 after a round with Lockheed. Being a slacker does have a benefit or two.
