What's the biggest thing going on this weekend?

Okay, I have to brag a bit. Well I am not really bragging, I am just so stoked I can not contain myself...what is it you ask?

I am taking a little drive to the eastern part of Georgia tomorrow for a Saturday with TIGER, PHIL, BRANDT, ERNIE, and many others.

Some of you still dont know what I am talking about....I am going to the Masters. You know the biggest, most awesome golf tournament EVER. I am so excited I had to take a TYLENOL PM just so I could get some sleep tonight.

This is my first time to go. My cousin, who lives in ATL, got me hooked up. FREE RIDE all the way, tickets, accomodations, food, drink, everything. All I have to do is get to ATL by 2pm tomorrow. My CUZ hooked me up!!! BIG TIME!!!

If anyone wants me to get anything for them, just let me know...they will have stuff there that you can only get AT the tournament.

Augusta National has NO BUDGET for maintenance... this place is supposed to be immaculate. But I'm gonna try to find a WEED and bring it home..haha

Anyway, I would get PICS but you cant even take a camera inside the golf course. I will paint you a picture when I get back.

Donnie I have been to a practice round at augusta place is incredible. And no you will not find a weed. If you'll take any advice try to get a seat in the bleachers behind 12 tee. You can take in all the action of amen corner. I have been playing golf since I was like 3 years old and played in some higher profile state amatuer tournaments and last year I went down there for my first time and I wont lie my eyes watered up. Soak it all up and make sure to have a $2 beer. We joked about it saying they sell you a Masters souveneir cup for $2 and fill it with free beer.

On the other hand I'm playing in a golf tournament on the other hand. Spring Dogwood at Montgomery Bell. And I have not been playing much so wish me luck.

I am not much for spectator golf, but i really like checking out the courses. I am going to spend the entire week volunteering on the golf maintenance crew at Valhalla during the Ryder Cup matches in September.

Ryder Cup, this close to home, I figured it would be a chance of a lifetime to be a part of it.

WOW!!! Thats about how to sum it up.

I just got back from Augusta, just in time to catch today's round on TV. It was a great experience. We got there at 8am and left at 8 pm. We put our chairs down FRONT ROW of 17 green and then walked the course. Saw all the goodies...amen corner, 18, 10, Eisenhowers tree, clubhouse, and all of the worlds greatest golfers. Man, I need to get into some of those Europeans designer clothes. They fit my style nicely.

All in all, it was great....we watched every golfer tee off on 8 tee and saw every one at 17 green. I even yelled "GET IN THE HOLE" for Lee Westwood....Just to say I did it. It was great...total silence when he hit a delicate 20 footer...I think TIGER heard the echo on 15 tee...LMAO.

What a great weekend...I HIGHLY recommend hitting the masters at some point in your life...GOLF FAN OR NOT.
