I like my truxs mts. Good all around tire. Can be a bear to balance.

I've never owned a set, but I've been looking at Procomp A/T with 50,000 mile warranty for my truck. They look a lot like BFG A/T's

I used to run General Grabber MT's. They are inexpensive, perform well and last as well. I believe that there is a General employee on here too that could tell you more maybe.

Ive put about 40,000 miles on my 32" BFG M/T's, and they still are going strong. I'd say that I can get around another 5,000 to 10,000 more out of them, but I've already got plans for bigger and better plans for my Jeep this summer.
Also, the TRxus M/Ts are good tires, and really quiet like the BFG's that I have, but I have heard that they dont last as long as far as on-road milage because of the softer compound used in them for the tread. But are alittle cheaper than mine as well.

BFG seems to be a stout tire for on and offroad use. In Cali I used the BFG AT, but the terrain didn't gum up the lugs like it does around here.
I currently run TrXuS MT's and they are wearing well. I'll testify that they ARE a huge PITA to balance.
BFG MT's ARE a great alternative, as are the Goodyear MTR's that are on the Rubicons (IIRC).

The first batch went out to some baja teams, after that we should start making them for the general public. I hope it's soon i am about due for a new set.

The top tire is the tire that went to the baja teams. I hear they went over real well. I'm trying to see if i can use my jeep for a test rig for the bottom set.
