View Full Version : Introducing myself
Jax Unlimited

I am the new owner of a 2004 Unlimited that was essentially new when I bought it 2 months ago. It only had 12K miles and looked brand new except for one of the fog lights. My Jeep is black with a black sunrider soft top. This is a much different Jeep than the 86 CJ that I drove for 5 years back when I was in high school and college. The Jeep has a 4" Pro Comp lift with 35x12.50x15 Fun Country II (five for a real spare), Eagle polished wheels, Bush Wacker 6" fender flares, chrome tubular bumbers front and rear, chrome tubular side steps, chrome grill, aftermarket tire carrier, K&N cold air intake, and KC titanium slimlights to replace the fog lights. Future plans include cat back exhaust, ring gear change due to 35's to either 4.10 or 4.56, more chrome parts, a slip yoke eliminator, and possibly a winch... plus about half the stuff in the 4wheel parts book.

Jeep Party at Sam's!!!!!!!
Hello Sam, Welcome to IAJ!! Sweet ride you got there. When you do your gear change, don't be shy, go straight for the 4:88 gears with those 35 inch tires. You will be amazed at how much power gears will give your Jeep. The good news about Unlimiteds is that they all have the Dana 44 rear axle. Compared to the junk Dana 35 that comes in most Jeeps, your D44 is a work horse. Anyway, welcome to IAJ!! :)
